About Birdsong and Toe Itchiness

Of The Heart

You knelt down beside me and

Wrapped your arms

Around my trembling shoulders

“What’s wrong, dear one?” You asked

“My heart is bleeding,” I said

I pulled on my heart to take it out

So that it would hurt less bad

“It’s alright, “ you said, “you can have mine”

You took my hand and guided it

Through the warm flesh in your feeble chest

But instead of a heart I found a clockwork

With sharp clock hands

That pierced through my palm

And scratched my bone

“Ouch!” I cried, and remembered

How my heart was bleeding

In the first place

我头顶着末世的漫天风雪

踏入你曾蹚过的一条河流
